Laurel Moon

List information

Laurel Moon is Brandeis' Oldest literary publication, since 1994.

We have general weekly meetings where we workshop members' pieces, discuss writing, and sometimes just play creative writing games! Towards the end of the semester, we move towards creating our magazine.

We publish an issue every semester, and accept works of short fiction, poetry, and screenplays.

All published writers will have the chance to receive writing awards the Brandeis English Department: The Grossbardt Memorial Poetry Prize and the The Dafna Zamarripa-Gesundheit Fiction Prize. (Award winners have been gifted with a monetary prize as well).

Our website is located at laurelmoonbrandeis.wordpress.com, where you can find more information about Laurel Moon, our submission guidelines, and stories from previous Laurel Moon meetings. We also archive digital copies of previous editions of the magazine.
