Laurel Moon

List information

Laurel Moon is Brandeis' oldest literary publication since 1991.

We hold general meetings to workshop pieces and to discuss writing as well as social meetings for all to join. Toward the end of the semester, we focus our attention to creating the magazine.

We publish one issue every semester, accepting short fiction, poetry, and screenplays from undergraduates across the nation.

All published writers attending Brandeis will have the chance to receive writing awards issued by the Brandeis English Department: The Grossbardt Memorial Poetry Prize and the The Dafna Zamarripa-Gesundheit Fiction Prize. Award winners have been gifted with a monetary prize as well.
