Alex's Lemonade Stand Brandeis University Chapter

List information

a. The purpose of this Alex’s Lemonade Stand Chapter is to give Brandeis University students the opportunity to join a national movement to find a cure for childhood cancer. The club’s goal is to raise awareness of childhood cancer, encourage students within the school community as well as the Waltham community to get involved, and promote and organize activity to fundraise for the cause of finding a cure. Guest speakers will be invited to speak at events co-hosted by sponsors held once a semester. At least two school-wide Lemonade Stand Events held per semester. By teaching and empowering students with the knowledge of childhood cancer, and support the foundation’s mission of finding new treatments and cures through monthly meetings and hosting lemonade stands and other events to help fundraise. With that ultimate goal in mind, the club will bring students together in order to make a difference in the lives of those affected by childhood cancer.
